Vale Farm Poultry

We are so very proud of our girls. Most of which we have either hatched off and grown on ourselves or have gained from some wonderful breeders in the Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambrdigeshire area to give us a super range of Hens to provide us, our local customers and businesses with beautifully coloured fresh eating eggs.

We keep Goldlines for their high number of brown eggs laid per year, two groups of Marans (traditional French Copper Blacks and Cuckoo) for their stunning rustic dark brown eggs, a group of traditionally bred Light Sussex for their soft
cream coloured eggs and the striking White Leghorn for their large white eggs.
Our latest introduction has been our Free Range Poultry to offer our customers the choice of eggs purchased. We keep several ladies in our paddocks alongside our Horses and two Pygmy Goats. They have their own bespoke shed, nest boxes and are free to wander to their hearts content!! This latest introduction has permitted us the registration and certification to sell Class A Free Range eggs.... come and see us for the delicious taste...

All of our eggs are personally collected by hand, several times a day, boxed and labelled on a daily basis, refrigerated and
offered to local restuarants, cafe's, hotels and sold regulalry from our Farm in Reepham, at local Farmer's Markets and Food Festivals throughout the year.
Fresh Eggs are available daily for collection from the Farm, but please do contact us in advance.
See our Events Page  or our Facebook Page for further details or Email us at: sales@valefarmeggs.co.uk

Our Barn Hens are kept in huge purpose built pens within our large barns on the farm with access to soil, straw and natural
light. they are  fully protected from local predators and overhead birds which spread diseases.
We are regulated and registered with DEFRA (Department for Environment Food & Rural Affairs) and by APHA (Animal & Plant Health Agency) where we adhere to the correct conditions. Our hens are certainly put before the egg as their health and welfare must come first.... a content hen is a laying one and we have plenty of them!
