The Rhode Rock is created from the Rhode Island Red and Barred Plymouth Rock.  She is very similar in appearance to the Copper Black, but usually has more copper markings on her breast.
The Rhode Rock was developed by the same cross of pure bred hens as the the well known Black Rock, but she cannot be called this because the name is copyrighted to one hatchery. She is also capable of laying 300 brown eggs per year.
